The Costa Rican international has made 35 appearances in all competitions for City this season scoring 22 goals.

Chinchilla made her UEFA Women’s Champions League debut this year, scoring three goals including the only goal of the game against BIIK-Shymkent at Broadwood Stadium.

The 20 year old has 16 assists this year and scored her first hat-trick of the season in the Biffa Scottish Women’s Cup Quarter Final against Stirling University.

Chinchilla has also scored four times for Costa Rica this year as she helped her country qualify for this summer’s CONCACAF Women’s Championship.

Priscila Chinchilla on her nomination:

“It is a real honour to be nominated for this award. It means a lot to be recognised by fellow players. I’d like to also thank my team mates, who help me on the pitch every match. If I was to go on and win, it would be a special moment for me.”

Chinchilla also features in the PFA Scotland Women’s Team of the Year alongside fellow City teammates Lee Alexander, Jenna Clark and Hayley Lauder with City having the most players from a single team featured.
