City host Champions League qualifiers

Glasgow City will host their upcoming UEFA Women's Champions League qualification group as they welcome the Champions of Poland, Belgium and Georgia to Edinburgh for the group stage.

Polish side GSK Gornik Leczna come to Scotland as national Champions and City will fondly remember the last time they faced a team which won the Polish championship when they lined up against Medyk Konin in 2014 in an epic two leg match in the last 32 which went all the way to extra time. City will be hoping for victory once more but will be under no illusions as to how difficult a task it will be to get past the poles.

Belgian side Anderlecht are also a side City had hoped to avoid in the draw as Belgian sides have regularly proved to be capable of getting to the knock out stages of the Champions League in recent years. The final team City will face is Georgian champions FC Martve.

Commenting, City Head Coach, Scott Booth said, "The whole club is looking forward to another crack at the Champions League in 2018. It's always an incredibly difficult tournament to make your mark in but we feel confident that we can show our quality and progress from the group stage. It would be fantastic if our support would continue to get behind the team as we've had so many memorable nights in this tournament."

All Glasgow City games will take place at the Oriam National Performance Centre at Heriot Watt University and entry is free, with donations being accepted for those who want to do so for attending the matches.

With the European games in Glasgow at the same time it has been impossible to secure accommodation for all teams in City's home town and the club has therefore had to move to Edinburgh to be able to host the matches. The full match schedule is:
