It was a frustrating evening for the Champions tonight as Glasgow City were held to
a 0-0 draw with fourth placed Stirling University.
City Head Coach Scott Booth made a number of changes to the team which defeated
Hearts in the Cup three days previously, but despite enjoying the majority of
possession City were unable to convert their dominance into goals, giving Stirling
their first ever point against Glasgow City.
Commenting, Head Coach Scott Booth said, “We can talk about missed chances and
stats which showed our dominance of the game but ultimately we were not good
enough tonight. Stirling had a game plan and executed it very well and should be
commended for that. We had more than enough chances to win the game, but in
the end, we didn’t and because of that we do not deserve all three points.”
