Glasgow City v Celtic Preview

The Scottish Women's Premier League resumes this Sunday after the mid-season break and with the arrival of new Head Coach Scott Booth, Glasgow City Captain Leanne Ross says she and her team mates are raring to go as they take on Celtic at the Excelsior Stadium in Airdrie.

She said, "The players have returned from the mid-season break refreshed, excited and eager to get back to business under new Head Coach Scott Booth.

"We have had an intense, yet enjoyable week at training working towards Sunday's game against Celtic. With the League now split into top and bottom six ,there are no easy games from here on in and we know from previous encounters this season that Celtic will provide a tough test. With this in mind, Scott has certainly done his homework and has us focused, motivated and prepared forSunday's game."

At the mid-season point, City currently sit top of the Scottish Women's Premier League on goal difference ahead of Hibernian, with Celtic in third.

It is a cash gate on Sunday for the 2.30pm kick off between Glasgow City and Celtic at the Excelsior Stadium, Airdrie. Entry is £5 adult, £3 concession and kids under 16 go free.
