City up for Awards

Glasgow City Football Club has been shortlisted for Performance Club of the Year at the Sports Council for Glasgow Awards due to take place next month. This great news comes just a few weeks after City picked up the Sport Award in the Inspiring City - People Make Glasgow Awards for the second successive year.

Also shortlisted for a coaching award at the Sports Council for Glasgow prize giving is Glasgow City Under 11 Coach and Development Team player Caitlin O'Hara.

In addition to this nomination Caitlin will also collect on the night her Young Coach of the Year award in the sportscotland Local Coach, Official Volunteer awards as well as Under 17 Coach Laura Williamson collecting the Performance Development Coach of the Year.

It is fantastic for the work of our coaching staff to be recognised in this way and the club is extremely proud to see two of our staff honoured. Well done to Laura and Caitlin and fingers crossed for more success for Caitlin and the club on the night.
