Glasgow City face Chelsea this evening knowing probably their biggest ever performance in Europe is needed to overturn a 1-0 away leg defeat to the highly fancied English Champions.
Suzanne Lappin, City's all time goalscorer, who started 259 games for club including 23 in Europe, also spent a period of time at Chelsea in 2012 and knows more most about both teams. As the goalscorer of the famous goal which put City into the Champions League quarter finals last year, she feels her former side have a chance to upset the odds.
She said, "It feels strange talking about City and not using the words 'we' or 'us', but I think given previous years gone by we all know this tie is far from over. Scott and the girls know exactly what they need to go out and do tonight and with match winners and experience like Leanne Ross, Jo Love and Denise O'Sullivan in the team, then there is every chance of getting the result needed. I will be kicking, or should I say heading every ball until the very last minute (Zurich like). All the best #OCAC"
