City keeper Autumn Farrell moves to Hearts on loan

Glasgow City goalkeeper Autumn Farrell has moved to Hearts on a season long loan.

Hearts won promotion to the SWPL this season and the move for City’s 18 year old stopper was facilitated by City Head Goalkeeping Coach, William Spence.

He said, “I feel this move is right for Autumn’s development at this point in time. With Hearts moving to the SWPL, she will be their number one keeper for the season and playing weekly in the top flight is the right thing for her just now.

“She is also pushing for a place in the Under 19 international squad and has been involved in the last few camps and the loan to Hearts I feel will only assist in trying to help her achieve her national team goals. Autumn will continue to train with me and the rest of the City keepers once a week.”
